Two-year-old abducted from Peoria has been found

Two-year-old Khalessi Morales has been found after an Amber Alert was issued Monday, according to Peoria Police Department.

Police said Khalessi Morales was taken by 32-year-old Luis Jesus Morales at around 6:10 a.m. at a home near North Lake Pleasant Road. Morales broke into the home, assaulted a woman at the residence and fled with the two-year-old child. He also stole the woman’s vehicle.

Police said Morales is a defendant in an order of protection. He cannot go near the home or have any contact with the child or the child’s mother.

Authorities reported Khalessi is now “safe and unharmed” in Peoria.
