Fire crews respond to fire at Tomo Sushi

UPDATE (8:38 P.M.)

Rural Metro fire crews responded to a fire shortly after 6 p.m. at the Tomo Sushi restaurant located at Foothills Blvd. Wednesday.

A witness that works at the restaurant was notified about the fire and headed to the restaurant.

The fire claimed the trailer that was behind the Tomo Sushi restaurant. There was no one inside the trailer during the fire.

Rural Metro said there was no one inside the restaurant when the fire happened.

The fire is 100 percent contained and no injuries were reported.

The restaurant suffered water damage and will be closed down until further notice.

The fire is still under investigation.
