Poetry book debuts, signed copies available

CALEXICO, Calif. (KYMA, KECY) - Camarena Memorial Library invites the public to a virtual meet-and-greet featuring Calexico's very own Charlie M. Zamarripa Thursday, May 27, at 5 p.m. Zamarripa is set to read select poems from his collection of poetry, "Lost in Thought," which he recently debuted on March 23.

"Charlie Zamarripa's poetry is melodious, engaging, touching and often funny," reviews Brett Kofford, San Diego State University professor. "He is an exciting, new and unique voice in poetry."

Signed copies of "Lost In Thought" will also be available for purchase in the library at 850 Encinas Ave. Zamarripa's collection is also available for purchase over Amazon from U.K.-based publisher, Impspired.
