State Superintendent Diane Douglas to visit Southwest Junior High for “We Are Listening Tour”

State Superintendent Diane Douglas will be visiting the Southwest Junior High School for a public meeting on Thursday, Nov. 9th from 6 to 8 p.m. as part of the “We Are Listening Tour”.

The public meeting will be held at the middle school located at 963 N. 8th Ave.

The Arizona Department of Education (ADE) and the Superintendent of Public Instruction will be hosting a series of special Q&A meetings for education.

Citizens will have the opportunity to share their direct input about the state’s educational system.

The meeting is open to the public and there are no restrictions based on district or enrollment. All K-12 topics are open for discussion.

For those who cannot attend, the meeting will be live-streamed via the ADE YouTube channel or you can tweet your ideas and questions using #BeHeardAZ.
