Fire destroys trailer at local RV park

A fire destroyed a trailer at a local RV park in Yuma Friday.

Rural Metro said firefighters responded to the Sierra Pacific Trailer park located by Avenue 5E and Highway 95.

The fire started in the kitchen, but still no word on what caused the fire. Rural Metro says the roof of the trailer caved in, so it’s not safe to go inside the trailer.

Three people lived inside the home. They did receive assistance from the Red Cross.

A trailer next to the fire had minor damage.
