State Department warns American tourists about possible ‘tainted’ alcohol in Mexico

The U.S. State Department is cautioning Americans visiting Mexico to be conscious of possibly tainted alcohol that has resulted in illness or blacking out.

The new advisory, posted Wednesday on the Bureau of Consular Affairs website for Mexico, comes after reports of alcohol-related tragedies involving tourists visiting the country.
