Firefighters deploy special tool: Chicken salad
On Wednesday, just after eight in the evening fire crews with the El Centro Fire Department responded to the intersection of Adams Avenue and Lotus Avenue for a report of a cat stuck in a drain pipe. Once on scene crews studied the pipe and decided the best course of action.
According to the El Centro Fire Department crews decided to use some chicken salad to lure the cat out of the pipe. The feline was unharmed and turned over to Man’s Best Friend Rescue.
