Multiple drugs and guns seized at Yuma home

Two Yuma residents are in custody after authorities found several firearms, drugs and body armor in their home. Twenty-five-year-old Angel Garcia and Maria Sanchez were booked into the Yuma County Detention center for multiple charges. On Tuesday night, the Yuma County Sheriff’s Office and the Yuma County Narcotics task force served a warrant at their home at 4200 block of w. 5th place in Yuma . Officials say once they entered the home multiple criminal items could be seen. In total 13 firearms and multiple items of military issue body armor were seized worth an estimated value of almost $83,000 dollars. Nearly 13 pounds of marijuana worth an estimated $103,600 dollars; 124 containers of concentrated marijuana wax with an estimated street value of $6,200 dollars and 74 vials of THC oil with an estimated street value of $3,700 dollars were discovered and taken. All this with a combined total worth almost $200,000 dollars.
