Power Outage: APS Reporting 1700 affected

More than 1700 residents are without power and according to the latest update from Arizona Public Service their power won’t be restored until close to midnight. APS is also reporting a controlled outage just west of the affected area; only four residents are affected by that outage. APS is reporting that the cause of the outage is related to a motor vehicle accident.
