According to the Federal Bureau of Investigation there were more than 300,000 armed robberies nationwide last year and in most of those cases a gun was used. It’s a problem that affects every community in every corner of the world and the Desert Southwest isn’t immune.

What police are describing as a robbery gone wrong left two people shot, one of which died at the scene. In the past couple of months several reports of robberies from strong arm assaults to victims confronted by an armed assailant.
