The program teaches students medical “hands-on” experience and are challenged by the large amount of homework and studying. Some programs last fourteen weeks or less. President Amanda Aguirre says this helps students get done faster.

“It is a fast way to get your certificate vocational technical and to start experiencing the medical field of your career. You can find a job right away. The jobs being offered are not at minimum wage but above minimum wage. It’s a good way to start your career and earn a decent salary.”

It’s a milestone for the college celebrating ten years of service and teaching.Aguirre is already looking forward to the fall semester.

“We always tell them if they don’t succeed, we don’t succeed. For us to see this graduation and to see all these students graduation it’s a great success not only for us regional center but for our community.”
