Bank robbery suspects found

The Yuma Police Department said they have arrested one of the suspects involved in Wednesday’s bank robbery at First Bank Yuma. The second suspect had to be taken to the hospital.

One of the arrests happened Wednesday at 9:54 p.m.. Jacob Sharp, 42, who was identified as the driver was booked at the Yuma County Detention Center for Robbery. Dan Hallowell ,40, was identified as the suspect who entered the bank. He is currently at Yuma Regional Medical Center for undisclosed medical issues and will also be booked once he is released for Robbery.

Wenesday at approximately 10:24 a.m., officers responded to First Bank Yuma, located at 2799 S. 4th Avenue for a reported robbery.

The initial investigation revealed a man handed the bank teller a note demanding money. The teller handed the suspect an undisclosed amount of money and the suspect fled the scene in a blue passenger car.

The suspect was described as a white male, wearing a baseball cap, long sleeve dark colored shirt, black sunglasses with a goatee.
No injuries were reported reference this case.
