PET TALK: Meet “Tripp” and “Roxi”

It’s Pet Talk time and in tonight’s edition, we meet an Amercian Pit Bull Terrier named Roxi and an orange domestic short haired cat named Tripp.

First we have Tripp. A large orange domestic cat who enjoys being around people. Whether he’s rubbing up against you or enjoying a nice back rub. He is more of a subdued cat, that would do best in a relaxed environment. He was a stray found in Yuma and has been at the shelter for a little over a month. Next up is Roxi, also known as the “silly girl.”She is full of energy and loves to run around. She is an American Pit bull terrier that was found as a stray in Somerton. She has a torn ACL and while surgery still needs to be done, Roxi is moving around just fine. She loves the water and would make for the perfect lake companion. She is dog friendly, but prefers those that are gentle and not hyper like her. While she is full of energy, she needs a family that can handle her strength along with her injury. She is spayed and ready for a home. If you are interested in either Tripp or Roxi, you can call the Humane Society of Yuma at (928) 782-1621. They are open Tuesday through Sunday and for more details you can head to Madison Kimbro’s Facebook page @madisonkecy.
