Power outage leaves more than 7,000 resident without power

More then 7,000 residents are without power after Arizona Public Service (APS) reported an interruption to a major power line.

The first outage is located by Colorado River to 12th Street and from Avenue C to 24th Avenue.

The second outage is in the area of 12th Street to Del Sol Lane and from Avenue C to Avenue A.

The third outage is from 12th Street to 26th Street and from Avenue D to 33rd Drive.

The fourth outage is in the area of County Eighth Street to 21st Lane and from Avenue E to Avenue C.

According to the APS website, crews are working on restoring power in all four areas by 1 a.m.

The cause is under investigation.
