Suspect accused of exposing self to multiple minors appears in court

Detectives have identified the man who allegedly exposed himself to three other prior indecent exposure incidents involving minors.

Dwight Arthur Raley, 63, who is a retired city of Yuma worker was identified according to court documents by detectives who were able to match either Raley or his car to descriptions provided by victims in the three previous incidents.

In the most recent case at the Yuma Palms Mall three minors say he allegedly pulled up next to them and raised his hips and made sexual gestures.

Raley was back in court on Monday facing two separate offenses of indecent exposure both class six felonies. Each offense is set at a $20,000 dollar bond.

According to court documents he had been re-arrested for three other prior indecent exposure incidents involving minors. In court on Monday we heard from a concerned father of one of the victims.

Judge: “Is there anything you wish to say to me sir.”

Victim’s father: “Sir, I came here as a concerned citizen but mostly as a concerned father.”

Raley will appear in court again for a preliminary hearing on June 16th at 4:00 p.m. He is ordered to have no contact with the victims and not possess or control any deadly weapons.
