Bully Rehab Awareness opens new gym

A local martial arts club are kicking things up a notch by opening their new gym for the summer.

The Bully Rehab Awareness Gym cut the ribbon Wednesday morning and welcomed everyone to their new home. The gym teaches students strength inside and out through different forms of martial arts. One of their main focuses for their students, is to fight against the issue of “bullying”,something that happens in our community and worldwide.Instructor Kenrick Escalnti says creating a safe place for their students is vital to their learning experience.

“What we want to see, is us doing our best that helps our community get better.We know there’s a lot of bullying in our community, we know there is a lot of hardship in this community, a lot of poverty in this community, we want to be able to have a positive light here at Bully Rehab Awareness Gym.”
