Driver crashes into power pole knocking it down
Crews were on scene earlier this evening for an accident involving a car crashing into a power pole.
It happened just after 7 p.m. near the intersection of Figueroa Avenue and First Street.
The driver was checked by paramedics and was released on scene.
The impact caused severe damage to the power pole and it may need to be replaced.
Accident investigators are trying to determine what caused the driver to lose control and hit the pole.
