YPD looking for criminal damage suspects

The Yuma Police Department is investigating a shooting that damaged a City of Yuma Park and Rec vehicle.

On Monday at 6:07 a.m., the Yuma Police Department responded to the Yuma Catholic School, 2100 W. 28th Street, for a report of criminal damage.

Upon arrival, Officers learned sometime this weekend between Friday, May 13th, 9:00 a.m. and Monday, May 15th, 5:00 a.m., unknown people fired a shotgun at the driver’s side window and body of a City of Yuma Parks and Rec truck, while being parked at the Yuma Catholic School. The estimated value of damage is $1,150.00.

There is no suspect information at this time and the cases remains under investigation.
