Annual Point-in-Time Count survey shows increase in homelessness

The Imperial Valley Continuum of Care Council held a press briefing Thursday morning to discuss the status on the 2017 Imperial County Point-in-Time Count.

The survey is on homelessness in Imperial County and this year’s results show a big increase.

News 11’s Nico Payne was at the briefing and will have full report from El Centro on what community leaders are planning to do. That will be on News 11’s Early Edition at 5 p.m. and News 11’s Evening Edition at 6 p.m.
