Mother and two children crash into senior citizen

A woman and her two children traveling in a pick-up truck crashed into a man driving a sedan car.

Somerton – Cocopah Fire Department (SCFD) officials say the 65-year-old man was driving a Subaru Legacy when he was t-boned by the 25-year-old woman driving the Chevrolet Silverado.

SCFD officials were called out to the crash at the intersection of Highway 95 and County 15th, Friday at about 3:40 p.m.

Fire officials say the man complained of chest pain, while the woman complained of abdominal pain. Both were taken to Yuma Regional Medical Center. The two children did not suffer any injuries.

The Yuma County Sheriff’s Office is still investigating the crash.
