Man arrested after trying to lure a minor for sex
Imperial County Sheriff’s Office (ICSO) deputies arrested a man suspected of contacting a minor to commit a sexual offense.
According to ICSO’s Facebook page, Candido Muñoz Palacios, 31, was arrested on Monday at around 5:30 p.m.
Muñoz is facing a laundry list of charges including: contacting a minor to commit a sexual offense, luring a minor for sex, attempted lewd acts on a child and attempting to remove a child without parental consent.
Muñoz’s bail was set at $100,000.
