City announces new recycling site for residents
The city’s recycling site has moved to the Republic’s Services Suburban Transfer Station.
Recyclables can now be dropped off at 3040 S. Avenue 3 1/2 E from 7 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. on weekdays and 7 a.m. – 12 p.m. on Saturdays.
The new location doesn’t have any impact on the city’s residential curbside recycling service.
The old recycling site on 13th Street will soon be under construction and will serve at the city’s new fleet services facility once the construction is done.
