Winterhaven: Residents speak out against water quality

Several residents say Winterhaven’s Water District Board is going back on their word to help pay for the installation of a new filter for the town.

The owner of a local RV resort is offering to pay for the $10,000 filter but the water board said its installation wasn’t approved by Imperial County. It would cost an additional $1000 to install the filter.
