Topic of the Day: Presidential announcement sparks riots

Where there’s a winner there has to be a loser and in most cases an opponent admits defeat and goes on to fight another day. That wasn’t the case in cities across the country as Americans upset with the results of the presidential election took to the streets creating havoc.

In Los Angeles hundreds of students walked out of class in protest, in cities like Portland, Chicago and Boston protesters began rioting, vandalizing private property and in one case setting a police cruiser of fire.
