Local athlete signs with UNLV

Former Cibola and Arizona Western College athlete , Gabriel Claudio has made one of his goals a reality, signing with a division one university.
Claudio officially signed with the University of Las Vegas to play soccer for the Rebels in the fall of 2020.
It's been a tough journey for Claudio, he went from playing junior college football at Arizona Western College to playing soccer at Yavapai after AWC ended their football program in the 2018 season.

He says it has been tough, but he is grateful for the opportunity to be able to play soccer at the D1 level.
