Yuma man accused of trying to molest two children pleads not guilty

A Yuma man accused of breaking into a home and trying to molest two young children pleaded not guilty to all counts in his arraignment Monday.

According to court records, 32-year-old Chase Marshal Black has been indicted on charges including:

Count one: Burglary in the second degree with a sexual motivation.

Count two: Attempted molestation of a child.

Court three: Attempted molestation of a child.

In a previous court appearance, one of the victims said their sense of security has been stripped away from them and that their two little girls are afraid to even go into their room or even sleep.

Court records reveal that this was not Black’s first sex crime related charge.

He was indicted on charges of voyeurism back in May 2019.

Black is expected back in court on October 31.
