Update: Crews battle fire near Cocopah Casino

Firefighters from at least different agencies battle a blaze near Cocopah Casino.

The fire started around three Friday afternoon near County 14th Street just east of Highway 95. We’re told a number of pallets are burning.

Crews from Rural/Metro, Yuma Fire, and Somerton Cocopah Fire are all on scene trying to stop the flames from reaching a structure.

We will continue to monitor the situation and bring you updates as they develop.
