Man arrested, believed to be connected to burglary
The Yuma County Sheriff’s Office (YCSO) arrested a man Wednesday in connection to a burglary that took place in August at Duron’s El Zarape Grill.
According to YCSO, the suspect, Lucio Lopez was located in the 2000 block of West 8th Street and booked into the Yuma County Detention Center for burglary, criminal damage, theft, and trespass.
On August 18 the YCSO responded to the 1900 block of West 8th Street in reference to a delayed burglary at Duron’s El Zarape Grill.
YCSO said upon arrival, deputies met with the reporting party who stated that unknown suspects entered the business by breaking through a front window.
