Police find 26 kilos of cocaine wash up on Florida beach during Hurricane Dorian

Rain and wind are not the only things that Hurricane Dorian pushed onto Florida’s shores.

9 News reports as the storm began to crawl along the state’s east coast on Tuesday, Melbourne police said someone found a suspicious package on a beach that turned out to be a brick of cocaine.

Reports said police near Paradise Beach Park was approached by someone who said they saw suspicious package wash up from the ocean.

According to 9 News, the officer said the package was wrapped in a way that is consistent with a kilo of illegal drugs.

The package content tested positive for cocaine and hours earlier police said 25 other kilos of cocaine washed up on Cocoa Beach about 14 miles away, reported 9 News.
