Dorothy Hall Elementary School kicks off the school year with ribbon-cutting ceremony

On Thursday, August 1, the Yuma Elementary District One opened its newest facility, Dorothy Hall Elementary School.

Community members, educators, and local political leaders came together for the ribbon-cutting ceremony where Principal Leeanne Lagunas cut the ribbon three days before the start of the school year.

The state-of-the-art facility has the 21st-century vision including flexible seating and modern furniture.

Dorothy Hall fosters a close-knit and community-oriented environment.
