Yuma Crossing National Heritage Area hosts presentation for Latino Conservation Week

In recognition of Latino Conservation Week, the Yuma Crossing National Heritage Area is hosting a presentation and tour in Spanish.

The event is taking place on July 16 at 10 a.m. at the Colorado River State Historic Park located at 201 N. 4th Avenue.

Yuma East Wetlands Manager, Vianey Avila will be presenting in Spanish about conservation efforts in Yuma and along the riverfront.

On July 18 at 9:30 a.m., the Yuma Territorial Prison will be offering a guided Spanish tour.
