Yuma MVD office to temporarily close for a week

The Yuma Regional Motor Vehicle Division office will be closed for a week this month due to staff training.

According to the Arizona Department of Transportation, the staff of the Motor Vehicle Division (MVD) Yuma location will be training for a new state-of-the-art computer system for the week of July 22 through 26.

Many services will still be available at the new MVD mobile office that will be located at 2165 East Gila Ridge Road.

The mobile office will issue licenses, vision tests, title work, and registrations among others, but road tests and written tests won’t be conducted.
