Driver that caused rollover crash arrested for being drunk

UPDATE: The man who was driving the truck that hit the SUV was arrested for allegedly being drunk at the time of the crash.

Yuma police say there were two juveniles in the truck with the man. None of them had any injuries.

All five people in the SUV were transported to the hospital. The extent of their injuries are unknown.

ORIGINAL STORY

Yuma police responded to a rollover crash where a small SUV was hit while carrying five passengers, one being an infant.

The crash happened north of 16th Street and Avenue B. The SUV was traveling southbound when a truck pulled out of a Food City parking lot and crashed into the side of the SUV.

The impact of the crash caused the SUV to roll over four times.

Yuma Police were unable to confirm how many were injured but there are several ambulances at the scene.

Police say alcohol might play a factor and is currently investigating.
