The man who barricaded himself inside of his Foothills home made his first appearance in Yuma Justice Court Thursday.

Thirty-six-year-old Bryan Garcia was wanted by the Somerton Police Department ( SPD ) after it said he put people in danger Tuesday night.

SPD said Garcia fired shots putting as many as five people in danger, including his ex-girlfriend.

This all happening near County 15th Street and Smith Way.

Garcia was escorted out of his Foothills home Wednesday by deputies as part of the special response team after hours of commands being given over a loudspeaker.

This was the scene inside the courtroom when Garcia made his initial appearance in Yuma Justice Court where it was discovered he is actually facing two cases, both domestic-violence-related.

” You are being accused of the following, murder in the second degree, a felony offense; aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, a felony offense; disorderly conduct with a weapon, a felony offense, ” described the Justice of the Peace.
Luckily no one was injured during the alleged shooting Tuesday.

Garcia is being held on a combined bond of $150,000.

The 36-year-old is expected back in court Monday to see if he will be formally charged in both cases.
