18-year-old arrested for allegedly having 1,200 M-30 pills formally charged

The 18-year-old who was arrested Friday for allegedly having 1,200 M-30 pills was formally charged in Yuma Justice Court Tuesday morning.

Juan Francisco Neblina is facing two felony charges including possession of a narcotic for sale.

Neblina told Judge Juan Guerrero he had just graduated from high school and was planning to enlist in the U.S. Army.

The 18-year-old was arrested Friday morning by the San Luis Police Department and the Drug Enforcement Agency as part of Operation Stone Garden.

SLPD said the pills combined have a street value of about $20,000.

Judge Guerrero set Neblina’s bond at $50,000 cash only.
