BP rescues 3 families lost in desert during triple-degree weather

Yuma Sector Border Patrol Search, Trauma, and Rescue ( BORSTAR ) agents located three Honduran families who became lost in the desert during triple-digit temperatures Tuesday afternoon.

The U.S. Customs and Border Protection ( CBP ) said the three families were found in the desert in 110-degree heat. Once they were found, agents provided water, food, medical care. Authorities also confirmed the families were in good health when they were found.
