Firefighters encourage residents to stay hydrated

The Department of Firefighters in Somerton are alerting residents in the area to take extra precautions during the summer months.

Chief Paul De Anda said the people that run more risks are those working in the hot heat like farm workers, construction workers, and landscapers.

” People working outside should take precautions with clothing, wear long sleeves, wear sunglasses, and a hat to protect their face from the sun, ” said Chief Paul De Anda , With the Somerton Fire Department.
