Local business lending a helping hand to small businesses during COVID-19

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - A local Yuma print shop is extending a helping hand to other small local businesses by donating a portion of their t-shirt sales.

Every week, Salty Dog Print Company allows members of the community to nominate local businesses that have been affected by the coronavirus pandemic. The company then draws a winner every Wednesday and donates the proceeds from their t-shirt funds.

To enter your favorite small business for a chance to win you can head to Saltydogprintco on Instagram and tag a local business. You would only need to tell Salty Dog why you love this business.

Last week Salty Dog donated $350 to Golden Cheeks, a Yuma waxing hair removal business located in Downtown Yuma. The owner of Golden Cheeks is paying it forward and is donating a small portion of her donations to the next winner to come.

If you're interested in purchasing a "Support Local Yuma" t-shirt to help raise funds for the weekly winners you can visit SDPrintDesign on Etsy to place an order.
