First child coronavirus case reported in San Luis Rio Colorado

SAN LUIS RIO COLORADO, Sonora (KYMA, KECY)-An eight-year-old tests positive for the coronavirus in San Luis Rio Colorado, Sonora.

Mexican health officials say the youngest person with the coronavirus suffers from severe asthma and is isolated.

On Sunday night, the Sonora State Health Secretary Enrique Clausen Iberri says in just one day, cases in San Luis Rio Colorado, Sonora, rise by 15. Bringing the new total to 73.

The total cases in Sonora are 152 with 16 deaths.

Clausen Iberri says, "there will be more support from health officials, possibly more nursing staff and doctors. We have to work together to get out of this problem we face together."
