Outbound vehicle and pedestrian traffic limited at San Luis Port of Entry
YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA. KECY)-Starting today, April 20, the San Luis Port of Entry will limit traffic to Mexico from 10 p.m.-6 a.m, according to the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP).
CBP says inbound traffic will remain open 24/7 to essential travelers limited to:
- U.S. Citizens and lawful permanent residents returning to the United States.
- Individuals traveling for medical purposes (to receive medical treatment in the U.S.)
- Individuals traveling to attend educational institutions.
- Individuals traveling to conduct essential work in the U.S.
- Individuals traveling for emergency response and public health purposes.
- Individuals engaged in lawful cross-border trade.
- Individuals engaged in official government travel or diplomatic travel.
- Members of the U.S. Armed Forces and the spouses of children of members of the U.S. Armed Forces, returning to the U.S., and individuals engaged in military-related travel or operations.
