Body of child found in empty lot beaten and burnt, autopsy confirms
An autopsy says a boy, whose body was found in an empty lot died of blunt trauma in Mexicali, Mexico. Police say he was also burnt Saturday.
Radiopatrulla reports that forensic dentistry tests confirmed the body belonged to a minor between the ages of 8 to 12.
Reports said the victim’s body was located between the subdivisions of Real del Sol and Versailles.
According to Radiopatrulla , pathologists said the victim’s cause of death was due to the head injuries before his body was burnt .
Authorities said the boy also showed significant signs of malnutrition.
No arrests have been made.
Police are still investigating the case based on reports of missing persons.
