Arizona woman bitten by wild javelina

An Arizona woman has hopefully learned her lesson after being bitten by a wild javelina Sunday evening in Tucson, according to the Arizona Game and Fish Department.

The woman had to go to urgent care, but was soon released. The Arizona game and Fish Department ( AZGFD ) has advised her to get a rabies shot in a tweet.

The admitted habitual feeder of the wild animal was feeding it table scraps. It’s suspected that she has been doing so for years.

AZGFD reminds the public that feeding wildlife is illegal in Pima, Pinal, and Maricopa counties.
