Crews work to free a semi-truck stuck in Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH, Pa. (NBC, KYMA) - Crews are working to free a stuck semi-truck in Pittsburgh's California-Kirkbride neighborhood.

First responders were sent to help remove the truck around 9:30 a.m.

Initial reports said the truck was over a hillside, but it was actually wedged between a retaining wall and a utility pole, according to Pittsburgh public safety.

No one was injured, and charges are not expected.

The driver reportedly mis navigated the roads.

A towing company is on scene and will use a crane to free the truck.

One of the tow truck operators on scene says they plan to lift and swing the trailer.
