Anonymous donor furnishes every room at Right Turn for Yuma Veterans

Right Turn for Yuma Veterans

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - An anonymous donor is helping local veterans feel more at home by providing new bedroom furniture for every room at Right Turn for Yuma Veterans.

The donation includes new beds and linens, giving veterans staying at the nonprofit’s transitional housing facility a more comfortable place to call home.

Right Turn for Yuma Veterans provides temporary housing and support for homeless and at-risk veterans as they work toward getting back on their feet.

The organization shared its appreciation for the donation, saying the new furnishings will help create a more welcoming and comfortable environment for the veterans it serves.

The nonprofit is also preparing for its annual Military Appreciation Day event in downtown Yuma on November 14. The event begins at 9 a.m. and will feature informational booths, community resources and family-friendly activities.

The event is an opportunity to recognize and honor local service members and veterans.
