Multiple injured in rollover crash on 4th avenue in Yuma

KYMA

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA) - Multiple people were injured after a rollover crash in Yuma Saturday morning.

According to a press release by YPD speed and intoxication appear to be a contributing factor in the collision.

The crash happened at 8:30 a.m. at the 1800 block of 4th ave.

YPD says a Honda driven by a 19-year-old male collided with the rear of truck and then struck a curb, causing the car to roll onto its side and slide into another vehicle that was waiting to exit the Chevron parking lot.

The driver of the Honda was transported to Onvida Health and then flown to a Phoenix area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The occupants of the other vehicle were taken to Onvida Health where they were treated and released.

There were no other reported injuries.
