NJCAA celebrates 10th annual NJCAA Day

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA) - The National Junior College Athletic Association is celebrating its 10th annual NJCAA Day, recognizing the student-athletes, coaches, administrators and alumni who make an impact through junior college athletics.

This year's theme, “Empowering the Future — Opportunity in Action,” highlights how opportunities in junior college sports can lead to leadership, community service and lasting contributions beyond the playing field.

The 10th anniversary also provides an opportunity to reflect on the people and milestones that have shaped NJCAA Day over the past decade while looking ahead to the future of the association and its more than 500 member colleges.

The celebration recognizes junior college athletes across the country, including those competing throughout the Desert Southwest, for their achievements in athletics and their contributions to their communities.
