A Wind Advisory remains in effect for Yuma County from 5 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, with east winds between 20 and 30 miles per hour and gusts reaching 45 to 50 miles per hour possible across portions of the region.
In Imperial County, a separate Wind Advisory is in effect from Thursday evening through 2 p.m. Friday. North winds between 15 and 25 miles per hour are expected, with gusts reaching 40 to 45 miles per hour.

Highs in both Yuma and El Centro are forecast to reach around 83°F Saturday, with gusts potentially reaching 40 miles per hour in Yuma.

Dry weather is expected to continue over the next several days, with temperatures warming to near or slightly below seasonal averages before cooler conditions settle in for the weekend.
