Bose brings back wired earbuds for 2026

(CBS, KYMA) - It's been a little over a decade since Bose last released a pair of wired earbuds and they are now annoucing the return with the introduction of the all-new Bose Noise Cancelling Wired Earbuds.

Wired listening is gaining popularity again due to its simplicity and ability to use without needing to charge.

The new earbuds will "combine the simplicity of a wired connection" with Bose's noise cancellation, which was previously something only offered in a bluetooth headphone.

"Wired earbuds are experiencing a cultural renaissance, and when we decided to bring them back, we knew we had to make them even better than before," said Raza Haider, president of Bose Premium Consumer Audio said in a press release. "Technology has come a long way since our last wired earbuds, allowing us the opportunity to bring our latest advancements to the category and set a new standard for what wired earbuds can be."

The Bose Noise Cancelling Wired Earbuds, which will start shipping on October 15, are priced at $99 and come in black, white smoke, and limited-edition Dewdrop mint.

All will be USB-C compatible.
