Candidates running for Arizona Secretary of State participate in debate

PHOENIX (KYMA) - The debate is on for two candidates running for Arizona Secretary of State.

Arizona Secretary of State Adrian Fontes (D), running for reelection, is facing off against State Rep. Alexander Kolodin (R-District 3) in the debate, taking place Wednesday, with both candidates sharing why they're the best choice for the job.

State Rep. Kolodin won the primary election back in July, defeating Gina Swoboda, while Secretary of State Fontes ran unopposed during the primary.

Also on the ballot for Secretary of State is Green Party candidate Duwayne Collier, who is not participating in Wednesday's debate.
