Republican gubernatorial candidate Steve Hilton launches ‘Save with Steve’ campaign

LOS ANGELES (KYMA, NBC) - California gubernatorial candidate Steve Hilton (R) is holding a press conference Monday afternoon.

NBC News said this is to announce the launch of his "Save with Steve" campaign.

During the press conference, Hilton will use a calculator, his campaign said, to estimate how much California residents could save under his policy proposals.

Hilton is running against Democratic candidate Xavier Becerra in the November 3 midterm election to be California's next governor.

Hilton and Becerra will face off in the California gubernatorial debate this Wednesday, September 30.
